SUSPECTED STOLEN TOYOTA PRADO RECOVERED IN MOYALE, TWO ARRESTED Detectives in Moyale, Marsabit County, have arrested two suspects and recovered a Toyota Prado believed to have been fraudulently acquired following an intelligence-led operation within Moyale town. The detectives intercepted the white Toyota Prado, registration number KAR 555M, and arrested the driver, Mohamed Amin, 26, and his passenger, Ahmed Abdulahi Hajji, 22. Preliminary checks established that the vehicle’s chassis number did not correspond with the registration details held by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), raising suspicions that the vehicle may have been tampered with or fraudulently registered. A search of the vehicle also led to the recovery of an empty pistol magazine, a pistol holster concealed in the glove compartment, and rolls of bhang. The two suspects remain in custody as detectives process the case ahead of their arraignment.
